LEKI Khumbu Lite AS trekking poles are lightweight poles constructed of HTS 6.5 series aluminum shafts. Get the stability you need in the mountains while protecting your joints and ligaments. The Khumbu Lite AS features a DSS antishock system, the system has been integrated into the poles just above the carbide tips. This system allows the poles to absorb most of the shock saving your joints during long backcountry adventures. The Aergon CorTec grip is extremely comfortable and provides maximum grip.

"What I was looking for I believe. Probably better than what I need to be honest. Had a recent hip replacement and figured adding these sticks would help with stability. Several years with a staff has made me a believer in using a single stick, two has to be better! I’m 6’4” these are long enough with a few inches to spare. I’ve not tested them to destruction by any stretch but they don’t collapse when I’ve leaned into them hard. 4 stars because these are really good. They aren’t top of the line though. Cork handles would be nice. The extra $ in my pocket is nicer I guess."
