For me, it's just the right size without being too large like the Surge, while still providing all the tools and functionality I was looking for. I'm a general contractor and outdoorsman. This tool will see a lot of use in both arenas. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I am a little disappointed in the quality of the machining in a number of areas. If this tool is still being made in Oregon, I'd hope for better. If they've moved production to China it's sad, but not unexpected. I'm still satisfied with the purchase and looking forward to a long and useful service life."
