Breakdown
The Static V2 delivers exceptional comfort and weighs just one pound and packs down to the size of a soda can. An excellent choice for backcountry hunters who don't feel the need to abandon all luxury. The V2's body-mapped ergonomic design, oversized sleeping area and dynamic side rails cushion and cradle the body for a better night's sleep. Advanced materials are used to shed weight without sacrificing durability, and the V chamber construction minimizes air movement to maintain maximum insulating performance. This pad inflates in 10 to 15 breaths. The Static V2 has a light, tough 30D ripstop top paired with a hardwearing 75D bottom and has an R-Value of 1.3. A patch kit is included for emergency repairs.

Good for the price

"This is my second one of these. The first one lasted 3 seasons backpacking trips and hunting. Not the best for a side sleeper. I’m 6ft 190lbs. Belly sleeper."

V2 Sleeping Pad

"Short but worth the weight."

Ron E. (5/5)

Horrible

"The absolute worst sleeping pad I have ever used. Just plain uncomfortable."

Richard P. (1/5)

Horrible first experience

"Bought it, had to blow it up at least 5-6 times throughout the night. There’s obviously some leak in it. But common, it was brand new right out of the package."

The Klymit Static V2 sleeping

"The Klymit Static V2 sleeping pad is excellent for backpacking, very small and lightweight and provides enough support for sleep. Seems to be well made, time will tell as for durability."

Randal F. (5/5)

Great for the price

"I’ve got the V1 and V2 and have used both on multiple Colorado back country hunts. Works great and gets me off the ground and when weather has been 35, both have kept me warm, even though they are not insulated. My only con is that if you are in a hurry to leave camp, as we were a couple weeks ago, getting the air out quickly was a chore. Perhaps it was user error. But generally these are great starter pads."
