BreakdownKlymit's Insulated Static V Lite sleeping pad is designed to keep you centered on your pad and warm no matter what weather finds you. It's light enough to take on an early season high alpine mule deer hunt but it'll still keep you warm on a late-season elk hunt. A perfect do it all pad the will keep you warm and comfortable but not weigh you down.
Lightweight, packs small, easy to inflate, and really comfortable. I can't say how it would be sleeping totally out in the open on a hillside because I slept in a tent on relatively level ground, but I really liked it. Also super easy to deflate and roll up to re-pack.
So far so good. I've taken it on a long two day backpacking trip and slept really well. I'm 5'11" inches and 180 pounds and I'm able to sleep on my side without my hip digging into the ground. So far have only used it in July in the Montana mountains and it has worked well. I am reserving final judgement until I can test durability and cold weather comfort.
Love this pad for archery elk season (Colorado). It packs down to the size of a nalgene or so. Holds air. Inflates quick and easy. Packs back up easily. Very comfy.
Works well. Amazing how easy it is to fill up and drain. Not the lightest option, but very warm and worth it.
Great R-value and comfort in a light package. Just finished using on a 10 day back country mule deer hunt. Held up well to stuffing in to its sack and re inflating almost every night due to changing camp spot.
