The Kifaru Wind River Jacket is made from 30D High tenacity ripstop nylon packs into an integrated pocket on the front. This hooded jacket will add the final wind blocking layer to your layering setup without taking up too much weight or space in your pack. The hood, cuffs, and back hem have integrated bungee to help the garment move ergonomically with your body. In its packed form, there is a tab to secure the jacket to any of the key hooks in Kifaru packs.

"I got this because an older ultimate direction jacket gave out. This jacket, for the weight is exceptional at cutting the wind and shedding light rain. The material is ultralight but it appears to be the same as my old jacket which accompanied me on some very long backcountry runs and that jacket held up for about 10 seasons. It’s worth the money and then some!"
"This jacket really was incredible in Yosemite. The mosquitos couldn’t get through, the jacket was very useful against the wind and rain. It’s easy to pack away and deploy quickly. I fell at one stage on rocks and there was no damage to the fabric. I ordered a size up to give more room for layering and this worked really well."
