The latest addition to Kifaru’s Expedition pack line, the Kifaru Absaroka backpack both improves and combines features of the Dall and the Kutthroat into a streamlined external frame pack while staying true to the legendary durability and comfort of all Kifaru products. The Kifaru Absaroka Combo comes with the 25" Kifaru ARK Frame. The Absaroka backpack has .75" auto-lock compression straps over front pocket for carrying your weapon. It's hydration bladder compatible and also comes with water bottle pockets on both sides making sure you stay hydrated, regardless of your preference for carrying water. The Absaroka has Girth Hitch ARK compression straps on the sides, K-clip straps for bottom and sewn-in lid and top compression straps. One of the best features is that you can access the main compartment from the front of the bag without unloading the bag!
***The ARK frame that comes with the Absaroka Combo is 25" in length. The sizing variant refers to hip belt size.

"GOHunt finally got Kifaru! I have multiple Kifaru bags (I'm part of the "cult like following and for good reason" and the Absaroka has been my favorite so far. Can take Expedition style for 10 days or more or DAYPACK! Watch the videos, it packs down to a daypack, doesn't slide around, and frankly is the universal do-all pack. The increase in capacity, front access, and cutthroat-style front pocket were features that really interested me, and they haven't disappointed. Perfect setup for Summer to long expedition winter trips. The material is nearly waterpoof, zippers are a major waterproof upgrade, just can't say enough good things. Oh and the ARK frame, best out there!"

"Glad that Kifaru is now on gohunt! I have had several Kifaru bags and the duplex lite & tactical frames. This Absaroka has been my favorite bag so far. I have used the gnargali the last two years and loved it, but the increase in capacity, front access, and cutthroat-style front pocket were features that had me intrigued, and now I have really enjoyed having those upgrades with this bag. It has been a perfect setup this summer for high-country backpacking and I plan to use it hunting this fall. The new frame is awesome, it is definitely an upgrade in weight and rigidness, although in my opinion, if you already have a duplex lite frame and are debating putting money towards purchasing a new frame versus upgrading optics, weapon, boots, or tent/sleep system I would say the upgrade isn't as much of a gain as compared to upgrading other parts of your gear for the money. the older frames are still great and are why I originally purchased Kifaru. The quality and USA made are worth the price Also to note, the lid shown in the pictures is not included with the bag, which is fine, but was not clearly stated on the gohunt website"
