Breakdown The new Hamskea Primer Arrow Rest with time tested features such as sealed stainless-steel ball bearings, zero-tolerance technology, lightweight aluminum design, quality CNC machined components, and cord clamp; the Primer will be able to withstand the harshest of hunting conditions while maintaining pinpoint accuracy.
The Rebound Dampener helps to mitigate the shock that is transferred from the limb to the rest during the shot and prevents the wear that could eventually lead to failure. Made of a durable dampening material, the Rebound Dampener acts as a shock absorber to eliminate launcher flutter, prevent cord stretch, and dampen the limb shock extending the life of the rest.
Love the simplicity of this rest seems solid but light weight compared to other hamskea models. I've already used it on a few Spanish goat hunt here in Hawaii.
Great solid rest, tuned up quick through paper.
Upfront, my Hoyt has a concave shelf, so the launcher was contacting it and wouldn’t drop all the way down. I contacted Hamskea and talked to a guy there who was awesome. They are advising customers to bend the tongue of the launcher with pliers so that it fits the curve of the shelf. He assured me this would not void their warranty. That solution works great
This rest is built very well. you can tell as you handle it and install it. easy to install, and no rebound contact on the arrow. was able to get it mounted and shooting bullet holes in minutes. the grippy pad that comes with it to attach the drive cable to the limb is really nice. may seem like a small thing, but ive gotten some hard plastic pieces, ones that are concave to try and fit the curve of the limb... and they slip around on you. this is just a little piece of rubber that doesn’t move when you stick it on, it’s awesome.
I was looking for a new fall away for my 3D/hunting bow. I like the new shock suppressor in the cord. The rest was easy to set up and tune. Very pleased.
