"Lightweight, convenient, but chaffed the hell out of my bow string. Granted my bow was strapped to my pack for most of a week. Could be a bow specific issue too based on cam orientation (Elite enkore). For general protection hiking around probably have a different result."

"I’ve heard some horror stories of guys hiking through nasty terrain with their exposed bow on their pack and something bad happens. Like strings, cams getting damaged. Last thing any of us want is to have to hike back out how ever many miles we went in all because our hunt is put on hold due to damaged equipment. I try to mitigate as many factors as I can and this bow sling helps me do that. It goes on my Mathew’s arc 34 with ease and gives me that valuable piece of mind knowing my bow cams and strings are protected on my back as I climb and crawl my way through the thick, nasty terrain of the north Cascade mountain range.
