The GOHUNT Down Hunting Pant is a purpose-built insulation piece, designed to provide maximum heat retention while being packable and lightweight. The pant is cut to fit over the top of your hunting pant, with enough room to move throughout. Made from 94% down cluster and 6% feather, the combination of baffle size, 900 fill power, 5.54 oz fill weight of down, and cluster percentage creates a massive amount of dead air space, ultimately providing greater heat retention. Full zips down the outside leg of the pants allow you to put on and take off the pants without taking off your boots, and they can be used to dump heat. Included is a built-in waist belt to customize the fit. The exterior fabric is a durable, tightly woven 20D nylon with a water-repellent finish to bead and discard light precipitation. Reinforced backside with waterproof laminate for when you sit down to glass, and also the same reinforced waterproof cuff sections to aid in durability when walking around. Both reinforced areas are 30D nylon.

"Down pants are extremely underrated, especially in late season. They allow you to glass longer and in nastier conditions. These particular pants are nothing short of a nuclear reactor in terms of warmth. Just bring a sit pad, because any insulation stops working when compressed, I. e. - sitting down."
"Great quality and warmth for the price. On my last 10 day hunt I left my long John’s at camp every day and used the down. So much easier to dump heat when you need to or bundle up when you hit a glassing spot. Little bulkier in the pack but you can stuff them down and the weight is pretty much the same as long John’s. Paired with the jacket, so comfortable! I’ve worn other down brands but GOHUNT nailed it on these pieces. And it’s going to a company that supports hunting. Not like the agendas of most other “outdoor” brands. At least buy the jacket. You won’t be disappointed"

"My brother and I did a DIY Alaska moose this fall. We ate from Minnesota so we are no stranger to the cold but I was not taking chances with comfort or possible survival. I was able to get the new GoHunt down pants a couple weeks before our trip and man did they work out great! I had ordered a different brand prior to GoHunts release and ditched them instantly after comparing the two. The warmth is exactly what you would expect from the high fill rating. Extremely warm! What really made them next level was their functionality! Pocket for phone, reinforced lower leg/ankle and butt made it far less worrisome when sitting and glassing. The integrated belt made them stay in place and not slide down and expose my back. They fit true to size and are extremely packable. We faced cold, wet and extremely high winds and I could not have done our hunt without them. I truly believe you won’t find a better Puffy Pant for the money! My brother had a high quality puffy pant from another brand that he gets a great discount with but he said he would be moving to GoHunts puffy after seeing them in action. Don’t wait and just order a pair for yourself today…. you won’t regret it!"
"I picked these up as a lighter option than my synthetic pants. Very well made and extremely warm. The pants get 4 stars from me because the waistband. I’d like a little stretch or flex for better fit. Other than that, the pants are fantastic."
"This will be my first pair of puffy pants so take that with a grain of salt. The outside pocket is brilliant-I have fought with no outside pockets on rain pants for years. The fit is dead on, feels super warm. The stuff sack does a good job at compressing it, but I feel like you can get it even smaller to reduce pack size. Looking forward to testing it out."
