The Flip 36 is a great option to keep your electronics charged in the backcountry. This new for 2019 portable charger features high-quality 10,050 mAh cells that provide enough power for three full phone charges. This power bank can be used to charge any device that uses a USB charging cable whether it be a phone, camera, GPS, or any other item that you want to keep charged on the mountain.
The Flip 36 is also pass-through charging enabled. This means that if you are in the truck driving from one area to another you can plug it in, then plug your phone into it, and you can now charge both items at the same time. Lastly, The Flip 36 is designed to charge if connected to a solar panel. This allows you to keep it charged throughout your hunt in case plans change and you need to stay longer. The Flip 36 weighs under 7 oz, so you don't have to think twice about throwing it in your pack.

"I purchased two of these power banks. Only one of the two would go beyond a 1/4 of a charge? I put it on my solar charger for an entire day, it would not charge up! Unfortunately, I did not test the 2nd Goal Zero Flip 36 Power Bank prior to my hunt so I was struggling to keep my electronics working. I would not recommend purchasing this device. Additionally, it took two weeks to arrive from Go Hunt and I almost did not get it in time!!"

"The power bank works great. But charging it is not ideal. One male USB on a hinge is the method of charging and they (GoalZero) don't send a cord or anything. If you only want to charge at home and not recharge on the mountain I think you'll be okay, outside of that one could run into issues."
