Original deadmeat is better

"Ive killed multiple elk with the original dead meat heads, decent penetration, half of arrow, out to 50 yards, but this year I used the new v2, shot a bull at 40 yards and the arrow only went in 5 inches. I was in the V. Lost that bull. Can't trust these heads again."

Shoots great!

"I've only shot it through a target, but all the blades deploy. I haven't shot it once where they haven't all deployed. 1 out of the 3 BH did have a slight wobble when spin testing. Fairly easy to replace the blades and collar as well."

Killer broadhead

"Great killer! I love the field tip it comes with. Shoots identical to the actual broadhead."

Flying great!

"The practice tip is flying like a dart. Can’t wait to put the heads to the test! They are in the quiver and season is fast approaching"

Flies very good at longer

"Flies very good at longer distances (60yds+) . The redesigned collar I keeps blades locked in flight as well as in your quiver. Devastating entrance and exit holes with scary blood trails as long as you stay away from the animal’s shoulder . Highly recommend for deer or smaller size animals."

Fantastic broadheads! They fly just

"Fantastic broadheads! They fly just like a field point. Shipping was fast and the price was better than anywhere else I could find. Thanks!"

Great mechanical option

"These broadheads worked exactly as advertised. The broadhead flies true and was hitting with my field tips out to 60 yards (more testing needed beyond 60+). At impact, the three blade design is absolutely devastating. I shot this buck at 35ish yards (never ranged and had 20-40 pins covering vitals) and slightly quartering to. Arrow entered in the crease at the front shoulder and exited about 8-10" behind the crease on the opposite side. Full pass through and cut through him like butter. He went about 100 yards in the open, fell in sight, and died in 20-30 seconds. My only complaint was there was not a ton of blood on the ground up until he fell on his feet (small drops every 5-8 yards for about the first 60 yards then little to no blood the last 40 yards before he fell). Lots of blood on ground where he fell. Not sure if he was bleeding mostly internally because of where the arrow hit or if his fur was soaking up most of the blood. Not a huge issue because I watched him tip over, but just something to think about had the foliage been thicker along his path of travel. I shoot 80# at 29" draw. Arrows weigh 490 grains with 15% FOC. Overall very impressed with this broadhead for my setup."

Deadmeat review

"Great head for penetration and accuracy. 5 out of 5 on expanding each animal. Good cut diameter for 3 blade. Shot a big buck facing straight away.. i was up on a cliff so shot was possible with steep angle down and arrow center punched, nicking spine and came out his chest entire arrow burrow through body cavity and almost disappeared, barley poking out chest. One shoulder hit and the rest were pass through. 70lbs 27" draw VXR- 480 grain black eagle deep impact setup"
