Nice build and material but not worth the price
"Got this to replace a 25 year old Saftbak strap vest which cost 1/10th the price. Choose this one due to all the positive reviews online. Super excited to get it, buckle would not detach to allow me to put it on, had to real force it and eventual gave in. Took a while to adjust it, don't like all the Velcro since that gets gummed up eventual and useless and all the exposed velcro picks up burrs in the field. Water bottle compartment holds seem loose for 32oz bottles, and you will get blood and guts all over bottles if you put birds in bag, also for all the backpack talk of putting weight close to your back the water bottles are not. Big bird bag, love the material and it feels comfortable once set up. Not sure how you adjust the molle of the shell bag since it seems like not a lot of room to play with, had hoped to add molle attachments to belt but there is only 1 open spot. The shell compart is deep enough but seems tight for grabbing shells with gloves on and it is a little further back than I like and that is after I moved the belt as far as the Velcro would allow. When hunting I like to put #6 in front of #4 for pheasants, no way to organize shells, just dump them all in. I wish I could have tried on first and I would return now if I didn't have to pay shipping. For the price I was hoping for more."
