Great release
"Its spendy but if you want to go to a thumb release the Carter is the way to go. The release fits my hand well, better than a whippersnapper. I moved from and index finger (scott little goose) to the Whippersnapper then tried a Carter and the Carter seems like a better release as it should be for almost double the cost. The hand fit and length of the stem helps me achieve a more consistent anchor point. I slide the Vee of the middle and index fingers into my Jaw line. One word of advice is shoot a thumb release enough to get a feel for it before deciding if you want go that route. They seem awkward at first and take some getting used to, I almost gave up using a thumb release in the first week but kept shooting it and decided it was the way to go. Expect to loose or break a few arrows, the thumb releases are less forgiving with poor form compared to an index finger release. This is a good thing for me as I have developed a couple of bad habits over the years and need to get back into good form."
