Containing a super soft heavyweight Merino Wool and Cool Pass polyester fabric that will wick moisture and dry quickly even during high levels of exertion in the field. Merino wool is naturally anti-microbial, so it won’t start to stink on you after a few days without washing. Merino Wool also does a great job of retaining its insulation value, even when wet. The polyester blend adds to how soft and comfortable this layer is and won’t stretch and sag as much as other wool/synthetic blends.
