The Heat® Vane, with its low profile and quiet flight, is ideal for bowhunting and 3D archery. Its low profile provides more cable clearance, and the ultra-stiff material the Heat Vane is made of prevents vane flutter for a smooth arrow rotation. When using with a fixed-blade broadhead, we recommend four fletch. Like all Bohning vanes, the base of the Heat Vane is pre-primed for optimal adhesion.

"Low profile vane that works great for a 4-fletch helical arrow. I chose these over blazers for greater clearance between my sight on long shots and objects in flight. They are more brittle than blazers, but even after shooting one straight through the target there was no damage to fletching or glue on any vanes."
