"First time buyer of a BE arrow and am impressed so far with the specs and performance. (250/30.75”) Weights were all within .002 grains after being cut. And after spinning them, I found they are the straightest dozen arrows I’ve ever bought. Shooting great out to 60 with my IW single bevel wides. I did not use the stock insert/outsert, but I have read that those suck. Everyone has an opinion about something. I have no opinion on them, but I have always ditched the factory insert/outsert on all my arrows. I’ll definitely buy these again and would recommend."
"5 of 12 arrows had considerable wobble even after cutting and squaring both ends. I actually called Black Eagle and “Cory” told me that they measure straightness from the inner diameter and that spin testing them on an arrow spinner was a waste of time?!! Thanks bro…. Breaking news to me! For $200 the .001 straightness printed on the shaft should actually be .001, not a reason to sell at premium price if it’s not a premium product."

"These shafts are incredibly durable for the weight. I've shot them for 2 years now extensively (nearly daily) and have had great luck. The outserts are the only reason for the 4 star. I have used the stock outserts (7075 T6 Aluminum) with a Firenock Carbon Inner Tube (CTI) with decent durability for a low price but in 300 or 250 spine arrow you really should step up to a steel or Ti outsert/insert. For a 300 spine X-Impact the Nexxus Ti 400 is a perfect fit & is nearly indestructible. The Nexxus Ti 350 is a good fit for a 250 spine X-Impact. For a 350 or softer spine I'd just add the Firenock CTI and you'll have no issues with the lower energy & thicker walled Aluminum outsert."
"After spending hours and a small fortune trying to find the sweet spot for a match grade heavy(ish) arrow with correct spine (250), small diameter and high FOC for a 32.5 inch draw length, I found it with these. tossed the outserts and set up with iron will single bevels up front (210 grain total) and helical fletching. Around 550 grains total with FOC around 17-18. when tuned properly, extremely accurate, and I'm not even that great of a shot. 5 whitetails with 5 arrows so far."
"The shaft itself is great. I killed my blacktail with this arrow and had a full pass thru. Final arrow weight was 430gr with 16.85% FOC. The stock components are a failure point, they are aluminum and can crumple if you hit something hard. The outsert is just a sleeve over the arrow with no post going into the shaft. This makes it hard to glue them making them pull off the shaft in a hard foam target. I would use something steel or titanium that has a post that goes down into the shaft next time."
