The Black Diamond Cosmo 350 Headlamp packs a lot of features, versatility, and power in a lightweight package. The Dual-Fuel ability of the Cosmo allows you to run off different power sources depending on what’s best for the use case at hand. You can use three AAA batteries as a backup if your BD 1500 Li-ion rechargeable battery dies and you don't have a portable charger. With 350 lumens of max output, the Cosmo is perfect for camp and has plenty of power to light the way back after a long day of hunting. Red LED night vision lets you hike to your glassing spot early in the morning without alerting animals of your presence, it’s also less intrusive for your hunting partner when in your tent. The housing is waterproof-tested to an IPX8 rating, this will keep water from penetrating the housing if you are caught out in a storm and need to hike multiple miles for coverage and withstand being dropped in 3 feet of water for approximately 30 minutes. You get all the modes including dimming, strobe, night vision, and lock mode. The integrated battery meter lets you keep track of how much juice you have left before you need a recharge or battery swap.
