Good pad
"Easy to inflate/deflate with the valve design. Only gripe is that it is noisy on tent floor but that is common to many pads, have heard folks putting beads of silicon on tent floor to help aid this but haven't wanted to try that yet"

"Easy to inflate/deflate with the valve design. Only gripe is that it is noisy on tent floor but that is common to many pads, have heard folks putting beads of silicon on tent floor to help aid this but haven't wanted to try that yet"
"Did a lot of research and after a year of hard use, I’m satisfied with this pad. I’m a side sleeper and my shoulders don’t touch the ground with this pad even with some air let out of the pad for comfort. The vertical baffles are nice to relieve pressure on my shoulders and make it easy to not slip off the pad even when sleeping on a side hill with no flat spots. Not the lightest pad but the extra few ounces is 100% worth a good nights sleep."
"I've transitioned through about 4 various sleeping pads over the past 20 years of backpacking. This is hands-down the most comfortable pad I've ever used! I'm a 6'5", 215 lb. side-sleeper, and I bought the Wide/Long model. Very comfortable, quiet, and warm! The slightly-larger side chambers keep you centered on the pad and the 3.5" of air really help you find the sweet spot between support and cushion. No more sore hips and shoulders! It's not an uber-light pad, but I'll gladly hump an extra 6 - 8 oz. for a pad that's this warm, comfortable, and durable. Highly recommended!"
"I've been using a very big and heavy, albeit very comfortable, ThermaRest pad for the past few years. It's great and easy to inflate but it's not what I need for a backcountry hunt. The Rapide SL is just what I was looking for. It'll be a few months before I test the R-value but it's super comfortable, light, and packs down into a super small stuff sack. One of the problems with the ThermaRest was deflating, folding then rolling it up. That process is MUCH easier with the Rapide SL. It'll be too heavy for the obsessive minimalist but it's worth it for a good night sleep. Buy with confidence."
"Bad ass sleeping pad. Warm, comfortable and easy to pack. Always gave up on a packable sleeping pad and comfort, not anymore with the Big Anges Rapide SL"
"Although blowing it up with the included “air bag” was odd the first time, I slept great. It was warm and comfortable. The air bag works and the one way valve makes it easy."
"I think Big Agnes did an excellent job with this sleeping pad! Quality wise it’s really good, I don’t have any concerns with it not lasting years of use. It’s super comfortable, and Im glad they included some patches in the event it gets a hole. I would definitely recommend!!"
"The specs are clear, not sure why others are complaining. This pad is a bit heavy but its so comfortable. I am a side sleeper, 200# and never had a complaint! Great pad. The weight was a calculated decision, and a good one I've decided for backpack trips exceeding 2 nights. 2 nights is my personal limit going "ultra".."
"Most comfortable pad I've used but the cost is added weight in your pack. I'm biting the bullet in favor of great sleep and my hips never squishing thru the pad and into the ground. If it was lighter it'd be 5 stars. The valve system is very easy and well thought out."
"Pad is very narrow."
