Breakdown
The new Insulated AXL is still packed with all the same features that make it one of the lightest three-season pads on the market. Like high tenacity ripstop shell and PrimaLoft insulation to keep you comfortable and warm. But this year, Big Agnes added a pad inflation sack to make those high altitude camps a little less strenuous. With a 3.25" pad thickness with 3.75" outer chambers, this pad keeps you centered and comfortable all night. The heat reflective barrier, working alongside the PrimaLoft insulation, traps and reflects your body heat to keep you warm when the temperature drops.
A patch kit is included for emergency repairs.

Not sure what some people are setting this pad upon, but mine is stellar. Seams are holding. Strong enough fabric to where I can “cowboy” camp. I have no issues whatsoever. Light enough to pack in and pack back out with a load of meat.
Great pad but didn’t give it a five star because first night out in camp it had more than one puncture right out of the bag small ones but enough to have it deflate on me at night and was sleeping on the ground all night, wished I had tried it before I was out on my hunting trip.
