"Only 5 ounces and makes me feel more comfortable about not tearing bottom of tent. The tent seems to have a very thin floor and this makes it so I can pitch anywhere without worries. There are clips on footprint to allow pitching with just the poles and rain fly if you want to save weight and not bring the mesh tent. Pairs perfectly with copper spur, will always have with tent."
