Argali Stove!

"Great stove! I did a lot of comparing with other stoves. This one has the largest fire box for the price. Love what Argali is doing with all their products!"

Fast and reliable

"The stove got to my house fast. I assembled it prior to going to the field and it took some time at first. Once the stove pipe is burnt in, the assembly of this stove is fast. I have throughly enjoyed this stove so far."

The weight us actually as advertised!

"Great stove, easy to set up. Heats great! No complaints. What was really surprising was the weight was actually as advertised. I have made purchases on expensive gear and I am certain they got their ounces confused for pounds"

What a fun little toy

"Great stove, heats up an 8 man tipi just fine. You can fit fairly large pieces of wood(4”x4”x12”dimensional lumber) or logs of equivalent size. Although it prefers the smaller pieces, it’s nice to be able to toss a bigger one on before you hit the sack. Slide damper and damper card work well. The door works fairly well. It’ll fall off sometimes when you’re tossin in more wood, and you’ll probably burn your fingers a little bit trying to wrangle it back into place. But that’s all part of the “experience”. The spark arrestor should be cleaned prior to every use. Not after you get a hot fire going and wonder why your tents filling with smoke. The top, bottom, and sides will all warp with use. There’s no avoiding it and It still functions just fine. Boils water great, but best in a thin walled light weight pot. I like to build a little stone hearth around it if it’s convenient. Helps hold some heat, and stabilizes the thing when the door gets a little cockeyed and you’ve got to jiggle it into submission. I wish they’d send you an extra wing bolt. Argali sells custom pipe lengths on their website. They have great customer service. I love my stove and ide be willing to bet that your first sub-zero night spent with your stove you won’t be thinkin about that price tag. Or those nice warm dry boots in the morning…. Gosh. I hope this helps."

Skyline tent stove

"Works well keeps tent hot , front food catches when burning. Had to hold stove with stick when adding wood."

Great Stove but door design can be improved

"I like the compact and lightweight features of the stove, but the door design could be improved. Specifically, the door does not slide in/out very easily and as a result it can take some effort to open it to put more wood in. This proved difficult for me recently and, as I was attempting to open the door to put more wood in, it completely came off the stove and burned/melted numerous holes in my down sleeping bag. It would not be difficult to fabricate a hinge to hold the door in place and allow it to open/close without the risk of it coming off and burning/melting items near it."
