Why Magnacut Steel
Argali used a Magnacut Steel for this knife based on the expected use of this knife, as well as the size and the design. Magnacut has a great balance between hardness, edge retention and corrosion resistance. Magnacut is also incredibly durable and less prone to chipping than most steels. For a longer bladed knife like the Sawtooth, Magnacut is going to have great edge retention while not being so hard that you can't field sharpen it.
