The Argali Absaroka 4P Tent is a great lightweight 4-person mountain shelter. The ARC Removeable stove jack system allows you to run the tent in either lightweight mode or stove mode. In lightweight mode the stove jack would be zipped out and replaced with a tent fabric insert, this decreases the overall weight from 2 lbs (stove jack attached) to 1 lb 14 oz without losing its weatherproof protection. The tent has been constructed of 20D ripstop SilPoly fabric, polyester does not stretch when wet so your tent will not sag on you while you wait out the storm. The Absaroka was designed to be a 4-person tent without a stove and a mountain palace for two people and a stove giving you a balance between interior space, weight, and footprint. The Absaroka has a modified rectangular shape at the base of the tent, this makes for a quick and easy setup to get a perfect pitch every time. The tent can be pitched with a single center pole or by combining two trekking poles with the skirt flat against the ground to keep out drafts or raised to increase airflow when hot tent camping. A mesh insert and carbon fiber center pole are offered and sold separately.
***Single-wall, floor-less shelters tend to produce more condensation than traditional double-wall tents. Factors like humidity, ground moisture, and vegetation will impact the amount of condensation inside your tent. We recommend pitching your tent in an elevated position to increase airflow and bringing a small towel to wipe the inside of your tent periodically to reduce dripping.***

"I have taken this tent on all of my back country hunts and have never had an issue. Easy set up and with stood all of the winds and storms I’ve encountered. Only downfall is I wouldn’t want to share it with anyone it’s not extremely roomy. Solo it’s just fine."
"This tent worked perfectly for an 8 day trip out in South Dakota. With it being spring we did not run a stove. Had weather in 20s up to 80s. Rain, sleet, frost, and sunshine throughout that trip. When pitched with a little ventilation from the ground this tent done excellent as a light weight option for us. Condensation on the inside on rainy days but nothing unmanageable or uncomfortable. I had read that the stakes were not durable. We had zero problems with the stakes in hard clay or rocky areas. Notch provides a good hold for string without being abrasive. We used the gohunt light weight cord for staking out the sides. Staking out those sides not only added to wind stability but also really opened up the inside for more room and less items touching condensation on the sides during wet weather"
"Awesome lightweight tent! Nice and sturdy to"
"Love the tent. Material is great. Seams look beautiful. Sets up fast and easy. Reminds me of a canvas tent I use to had but lighter and more manageable. Would definitely buy another tent from Argali. Wish I had this back in the day when I backpacked as a Boy Scout."
"Been bivy/one man tent style hunting for years, with one buddy we are carrying less weight and have so much more room in this thing. It’s a no brainer"
"Very easy to setup and light for the amount of area it provides. Not tested yet in the field, but its purpose is for the use of their stove. I froze the last time but thisbtime it will be different."
"Great tent easy to pack and setup, lightweight and great for the backcountry!"
"Bought this tent for my brother and I to use on our first back country hunt. Did 9 nights in it and very happy. I packed the tent and my brother had a stove. With 2 guys, a stove, and gear there was plenty of room. One night when it was really cold we did do 3 guys in the tent and put the gear in our friends tent that didn’t have a stove and were still comfortable. Overall a great tent"
"So light! Seems like a well made tent. Can't wait to get it up in the high country!"
