"Wanted to love this head but. . the locking knob and handle are cumbersome, can’t quite find the happy medium to leave locking handle open enough to pan without the head tipping over. Panning horizontally is rigid and not smooth. Only benefit is how lightweight the head is."
"I like it so far for what it is- a lightweight no frills pan head. Still getting used to attached spotter, etc but will come with time. Can be a little tedious to completely lock horizontal motion. If you’re looking lightweight and don’t have large optics, this will do the job."
