Why we like this product

  • Features a 9” center column with hang hook or 4” center post for shooting prone or saving weight
  • 40" max height for those who only sit to glass
  • Collapsed width is the same width as a Nalgene bottle
  • Weighs as little as 26.4 ounces
  • Features 1/4" twist locks and 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 reversible stud to mount your tripod head.
  • When paired with the Tricer LP Pan Head, the entire system weighs approximately 31 ounces!!!

Most tripods on the market are designed for photography use and have the skinniest part of the leg contacting the ground. The Tricer AD and BC tripods use inverted legs making them the lightest and sturdiest tripods available to hunters. The 3 section legs inverted system means the fattest part of the leg is contacting the ground and with more surface area on the ground creates more stability. The Tricer BC tripod weighs 27 oz with the 16" center column and 26.6 oz with the 4" center column making it perfect for any hunting situation from shooting to glassing. When paired with the Tricer LP Pan Head, the entire system weighs approximately 31.5 ounces! The Tricer BC tripod has a 40" max height making it ideal for the person who only sits when they are glassing. Its height, weight, and sturdiness make it the perfect ultralight tripod that doesn't sacrifice stability in the backcountry.

Tripod

"Well built. Light weight. 5 to 10 years down the road I would like to review again. Looks like it will hold up well."

Darin S. (5/5)

Poor quality for the price

"Bought one last year directly from the manufacturer and took it on a UT deer hunt and a CO deer hunt (12 days of field use). If you glass a lot, have big optics, or want to shoot off your tripod, bite the bullet and upgrade to an RRS. The design and engineering on these leaves a lot to be desired. E. g. they wedge plastic spacers into the joints to get them tight (that's classic lazy construction). This works for a while but as soon as a spacer falls out of place, you're outta luck. Running some binos is fine, but a larger optic or a rifle causes stability issues despite the manufacturer's listed weight limit. This would be a solid setup at ~$100-$200. I'll give it 3/5 because a 2/5 is for a borderline unusable product, which this is not. Recommendation: drop down in price point to get similar performance or buy once cry once with an RRS."

Lightweight and sturdy

"Crazy that Tricer can make a tripod this study at such a low weight. Great for glassing and shooting."

Josh H. (5/5)

BC

"This tripod is extremely light weight and is exactly what i was looking for. The turn nobs for the legs are counter clockwise to tighten but got used to that in glassing period."

Weston H. (5/5)

Wish I would have waited

"Wish I would have waited for the new version to purchase."

Steven F. (4/5)

Good

"Great lightweight tripod when paired with the Tricer pan head but it is short. I ended up swapping to the AD so I could stand when glassing. Highly recommended if you prefer to sit when glassing."

Michael B. (5/5)

Everything I was looking for

"I really like the company and this tripod. Love that they add the long and short center columns. Seems very well engineered and thought out."
