The NXT utilizes refined Triangle Core Matrix construction and ThermaCapture technology to up its R-value from 4.3 to 4.5 making this a great pad for any season. The new NXT version is half an inch thicker and six times quieter giving you the comfort needed for a restful night in the backcountry. The NXT features the WingLock Value which delivers fast one-way inflation and deflation even when wearing gloves. The WingLock Valve also allows you to adjust the loft of the pad for a more comfortable sleeping position.

"I wasn’t sure on what to rate this pad, 4 stars or 5. It’s light and very durable and but it seemed to take longer than to inflate than my friends sleeping pads. I also move around a lot in my sleep so I should’ve gotten the wide to give myself more room but that’s my fault, not the pads. Overall it’s a very good product and very durable."
"Just returned from a 7 day Montana elk hunt and 4 days were in a spike camp three miles up from base camp. I had purchased a pad from another company that was supposed to have an R-4 rating but I continually froze my butt off with it. I had watched Trail and the guys on a gear podcast before leaving for my hunt and the therm-a-lite NXT sleeping pad was recommended. Wish I had bought this pad in the first place. It is outstanding. Light enough to pack and a complete game changer for warmth and comfort. I went with the wide model in regular size and don't regret it. Karl"
