Breakdown
If you do not sleep well on a backpack hunt, you may not feel like hunting at all. If you are looking for the most comfortable backpacking mattress on the market, consider the NeoAir Topo Luxe sleeping pad. It's one of the thickest, plushest, most comfortable sleeping pads in our shop. It is not as lightweight or packable as other NeoAir pads, but it offers nearly 4” of loft. The Triangular Core Matrix's unique baffling enhances stability and comfort, while the TwinLock valve uses two valves for faster inflation and deflation. Weighing in at 1 lb 7 oz and 1 lb 13 oz, the Luxe is still light enough you can backpack with it. It also makes an excellent truck/base camping option. If you put a premium on sleeping well in the backcountry, this is your pad.

I bought the longer pad this past September and didn’t go wrong! It’s hands down the most comfortable pad I’ve ever slept on. I took it on 6 western hunts this fall and not one complaint. It kept me warm and comfortable in temps from 50 degrees down to below zero on my last trip. Whether it was used on the ground to a cot to the truck bed it didn’t let me down. The only down sides are it’s slightly heavier if you’re packing in and it does take a little longer to inflate but that’s a given being it’s one of the thickest pads on the market. I didn’t have any issues rolling off as long as it was on a level surface. All in all I slept about 30 nights on it and definitely recommend this pad if you want a comfortable nights sleep.
Comfortable, but kinda slow to pump up.
I slept better on this one that most standard backpacking mattresses.
It can be deflated to a comfy level but the thickness makes it very easy to roll off the side. I feel like I have to balance on it.
I got the long version because I roll a lot in my sleep. So far I haven’t fallen off which is worth the weight to me. It is very comfortable and packs down great.
