Will NOT replace alpha glass!

"I purchased these right before leaving for a week long bear hunt, because I have never used them in the field before only looked through them at Cabela's I decided to take my 12X42 Swaro NL Pure and 10X42 Zeiss Conquest along in case I didn't like these. I will say the image stabilizing feature is legit and did allow me to glass with one hand with zero induced "hand shake" which is the real reason anyone would buy these. On this bear hunt I had weather swings from pouring down rain and thunder to 80+ clear sunny days, the only time these optics looked half way descent is right in the middle. That meant if it was early morning cold weather low light the glass is JUNK, if the sky was clear and it was hot the glass was JUNK. . . . . . . . the only time the glass quality was ok was clear skies with zero mirage from heat. My Swaro&Zeiss on the other hand had perfect image quality 100% of the time. Also the field of view is by far the worst part about these binos, the FOV it so small it’s super frustrating to grid/scan hillsides like I normally would. In closing using the Sig Zulu6 16X42 is like putting a pair of cheap Vortex viper on a tripod, the image is completely stable but the glass quality is just poor."

"These binoculars came in clutch for a NM Barbary sheep hunt. The image stabilization made it so much easier to locate game. The optics are clear, however, low light performance isn’t the best. Overall, I would recommend buying these binoculars."
