Designed for long journeys alone, the Argali Owyhee 1 Person Tent provides ultra-lightweight cover that can be quickly constructed and offers waterproof defense. It offers a spacious interior with a 50" peak height, 5 tie-down points for added stability, and Nano-Ripstop silpoly fabric that won't sag in the rain. It can be used with or without a mesh insert (not included) and is suitable for a single trekking pole/Rincon 2P Carbon Fiber Pole setup with adjustable line-loc ties. For maximum protection or air-flow, the tent can be pitched high or low.

Created for endurance-focused solo expeditions, the Argali Owyhee 1 Person Tent offers an ultralight shelter that sets up easily and will keep you dry in all conditions. Geared for optimal 1-person occupancy, the Owyhee boasts a spacious hexagonal design with a 50" pitch height - providing an interior space suitable for persons up to 6'3" tall. Its 5 tie-down points provide enhanced stability in windy conditions. Crafted from water-resistant Nano-Ripstop silpoly fabric, the tent won't sag in wet weather, offering sleeping and gear spaces in equal proportions. The Owyhee can also be utilized as a floorless shelter, or with a mesh insert and bathtub floor (sold separately). For setup, a trekking pole or Rincon 2P Carbon Fiber Pole is recommended; line-loc adjusters on all guy-out points allow easy pitch adjustment. Pitch it low for protection or higher to permit air flow.

 

The Owyhee 1P needs to be seam sealed to be fully waterproof. Argali includes seam sealer with this tent.

"This tent is super lightweight, pitches solid, has a small footprint and fits me and my dog. I have noticed when using it in wet weather it sags enough that the head end or foot end of my bag gets a little damp from condensation but that’s to be expected, you can’t have everything."

"I purchased the argali owyhee to get a lightweight 1 person tent with an inner option. I would say it meets that expectation and exceeds it. Getting perfect pitch takes some time but it is not difficult. The inner is spacious and roomy. Tent is what I wanted and expected for 1p trekking pole tent. You do have to seam seal yourself which is not difficult."
