The new Vortex Razor Ultra-High Definition 12x50 Binocular has superior optics in comparison to its Razor HD predecessor. Its new Abbe Koenig Prisms are the main improvement. These new prisms are longer than the previous version, and so weight is increased slightly. However, a little extra weight is a small price to pay to be able to spot more game. They also feature improved edge to edge clarity. The UHD series of binoculars are truly the highest quality binoculars that Vortex has produced to date.
