The Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls Strutter Box is a great place for novice callers to start because of how easy they are to use. Inside the wooden body of the call sits Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls patented V.E.T.T. system with a spring placed inside the box. This system helps to enhance call volume, note quality, and pitches when operating it. The Strutter Box can make those desired putts, yelps, and cackles to set that gobbler off more readily. In certain situations, you can even use the box to make gobbler calls. This box features a waterproof paddle so there is no need to chalk the call.
Yelp – Drag the lid across the edge of the box using light pressure. Repeat the sequence maintaining a constant rhythm.
Cluck – With moderate pressure, press the lid onto the box edge. Start to stroke and lift the lid (imagine striking a match).
Whine – With light pressure slide the lid across the box edge in a slow long motion. Use this call sparingly.
