At the heart of the Prominar Pure FL 553 15-45x Angled Spotting Scope beats a 100% pure fluorite crystal objective lens. The fluorite crystal is a natural mineral and is known for having very low dispersion that cannot be found in other optical glass. This characteristic enables Kowa to eliminate color blur and distortion almost completely, dramatically increasing the resolution and contrast of the image. The 553 measures 10.6” in length and weighs only 1 lb 12.48 oz for a truly compact and lightweight addition to the optics in your pack.
