Well made and affordable. I got the large size and there is more than enough room for my rangefinder and other goodies so I'm not having to take the pack off to get to often used items such as small snacks, ammo, light, etc.
I run a large on each hip belt, front-most webbing loops. Thought it would interfere with belt tension buckles but they don't. I just keep all the little sundries I want access to without removing my pack. Right now I'm doing tags/inReach/headlamp/fire kit on one side and snack food/Aquamira on the other. If you run them on the front hip belt loops, I can still fit a bear spray behind on one side and hands-free sling on the other. Works great for what I do.
I like that my arms don’t bump it when hiking with poles. Fits keys, Inreach (full size), well. I’m using on both my metcalf and an Eberlestock main frame. I prefer small on left side, bigger pouch on right (handgun option). Good flexible pouch.
The fucker keeps coming undone. It's like the snaps on the end of the straps are weak or something. If the pouch grazes against one hemlock bow, it'll pop the snaps open.
The other thing is the negligible difference between the different size options. Make the large a little larger or the small a little smaller.
does what it should. Only modification I'd recommend is to stiffen the material around the zipper to facilitate one-handed opening/closing and to make the forager pocket double as a bow holder for when i need a free hand momentarily.
