BreakdownThe Stone Glacier Skyline Bino Harness falls in line with all Stone Glacier gear, focused on being ultra lightweight and durable. Their Patent-Pending OptikFit Technology creates a modular design for an exact fit to any compatible binocular. Paired with the Skyline Range Finder Pocket and Skyline Bear Spray Holster, this set up will have you dialed for anything the backcountry has to throw at you.
It fits tight and holds the binoculars tight as well. Nice adjustability on the pouch but could use more on the straps. My dad bought the Marsupial gear latest one and I like it better. It’s more comfortable and the strap angle is easier on your neck. SG fits under my pack straps well. Not much padding but light weight.
Disappointed overall. The material is extremely loud and makes a lot of noise.
Checks all the boxes. Extremly light. compfortable and weather proof. Its quiet and opens easy. Ive been using it with some zeiss binos and the customize fit feature is awesome. I can use it for 8 x30. 10x50s easy .
I've been needing a new bino harness for a long time but have had trouble pulling the trigger, until I saw Stone Glacier had made one. So happy with this set up. So well built, comfortable and doesn't budge. Once tweaked to proper size, which took some time to perfect and tweak, the system is awesome. My only slight complaint is the lip where strap plate adjustment fastens to the inside, catches on the objectives on my binos when pulling them out. They still come out easily, just a slight annoyance. I highly recommend this setup. Bombproof, ultralight and ultra comfortable. Well done Stone Glacier.
Replaced my Kuiu harness with the Skyline for the diversity of adding a bear spray holster and/or a gun holster. My gun holster from Razco fits directly beneath the harness hooking to the available loops. Very light and comfortable.
