Breakdown
The Mystery Ranch Hunting Daypack Lid adds 700 cubic inches of storage to your main bag via two separate zipper pockets. The lid also has stow-able backpack straps that you can use to turn the lid into a small backpack perfect for use during a stalk to hold your kill kit, water, and snacks. The Daypack lid's unique shape also makes it a great rest for your rifle if you need to shoot off of your pack.

**Includes two 24" auto-lock accessory straps.

Just what I needed.

It’s given me a little more freedom. I can set out on a stalk knowing that I have the essentials. I’ve day hunted a few spots knowing that the conditions aren’t conducive to a full pack, opted to go without. Now I don’t need to leave anything back at the truck. And not go in lighter than I’d feel comfortable doing normally. A few of the downsides are of course it’s lack of structure and it’s natural tendency to fold in half and be somewhat awkward and uncomfortable at times. Despite any cons it fulfills my needs and it’s a very welcome addition to my hunting kit. It’s far more convenient than not. Works with my mystery ranch packs. I’ve used it everyday (just the lid) this season since I got it and I don’t see myself leaving it at the truck anytime soon.
