"The adapter I received does not lock down so the binoculars (NL Pure gen 2) rotate freely. I can't tighten it down enough. Maybe I got a defective one but these are not stable and I am really disappointed. The stud locks in fine and the binoculars won't fall out, but they are loose enough there is a lot of movement. They will be all but useless in the wind."
