The Sky Talus 6900 is a full-feature pack designed to blend lightweight design with increased access and organization. A 6,400 cubic main bag with a 500 cubic inch lid, the Sky Talus has 4 external side pockets. The two large side pockets have full-length, heavy-duty YKK #10 zippers with dual sliders for quick access to spotting scope and items needed quickly on the trail. Each side pocket is offset away from the frame to allow tripod or rifle carry without inhibiting the pocket function or access. The lower external side pockets are open-top for carrying a water bottle, tripod, or other gear on the side of the pack.
The Sky Talus has 4 Swing Out pocket attachments just under the 33” full-length main bag zipper. There are also attachment points for camp pockets on the back interior panel. The Sky Talus can be converted to a 4,000 cubic inch day/bivy pack and is load shelf compatible to add another 2,500+ cubic inches for larger loads. From day hikes using minimal volume to extended trips using 8,000+ cubic inches, the Sky Talus will deliver added organization and function while being easily convertible in the field to fit the pack volume needed on any given day.
Which Stone Glacier Frame Is Right For You
Stone Glacier makes two ultralight, load-hauling hunting frames: the Krux and the Xcurve. Both frames are compatible with every SG bag and each feature adjustable lumbar support and an integrated Load Shelf rated for 150+ lbs.
The key difference between the two frames is: the Krux Frame uses straight carbon stays and the Xcurve Frame uses curved carbon stays. This difference accounts for the two most common back shapes and allows the wearer to achieve a comfortable fit depending on the size of their torso and the shape of their back.

"Great pack! Can fit so much while still being light weight. Got some extra pockets for it and so it can fit even more!"
"Haven't been able to use it a lot yet, but I like how expandable the pack is compared to my solo 3600."
"Best pack I have ever used!"
"Absolutely love the pack. Very comfortable and easy to adjust straps. And the pack and Krux is a great combo."
"The Sky Talus 6900 is the perfect all around size it will carry more than anyone really wants to, but it will also pack down to a good hunting size once you’re there without having to swap packs on the frame. Side pockets for spotting scope/ rain gear/gloves etc. Foot pockets for your tripod feet to set in, and if you need more space add 900+ cubic inches with the addition of the access bag and belt pockets sold separately. I was at the top of the medium sizing so I jumped to the large and if it’s perfect, I have big shoulders the curve frame is very comfortable. MADE IN THE USA!!!!"
"I was impressed with the quality construction on all fronts. The shoulder and waist belt are very comfortable. I needed a bigger pack for late season hunts as my Kuiu Icon 5400 was a little too small and thought this one would fit the bill. Advertised as 6900 cubic inches the lack of exterior pockets(besides the two side pockets)made it actually feel like a very similar sized pack if not smaller than my Kuiu! The short straps on the bottom of the pack are too short for anything, but a tent, which I found highly annoying. The lack of a exterior water bladder holder or cutout was disappointing. The sidepockets don't have any elastic and too shallow making them useless for holding a water bottle. Hindsight being 20-20, I should have thrown down for their bigger pack. Paul at the store helped me with the pack and was fantastic."
"Great pack. Bought it for moose and bison hunts. So far it worked great on moose. Comfortable and lightweight hard combo to get out of a pack."
"Great pack that is exceptionally tough. Fits well and is light."
