"My well broken in Hanwag Alaska boots were squeaking louder with every step taken when hiking. This was on sale so I decided to give this a try and the Kenetrek Waterproofing Boot Wax stopped all the squeaking noise. This will darken the leather color though, which was no big deal since the boots will get dusty anyway after more hiking. I hope this review helps. Really good about keeping water out of my boots and keeping the leather in great shape. There's a Kennetrek YouTube video with Randy Newberg that talks about how to apply it. Make sure to take the laces off before applying it or else getting your laces tight will be hard!"
