Breakdown
The Wapiti game bags offer ample room for the largest bone-in elk quarters. In most cases, you can even fit a full hind quarter and front quarter in one bag. The set includes 5 game bags (4 quarter bags and 1 loose meat bag) with light reflective attachments and lock loops strategically placed for locating in your pack or the darkest of nights. The smaller bag in the set of five is great for backstraps, tenderloins, and loose meat. Caribou gear game bags are made from ultralight strong synthetic material and can be washed and reused year after year.

Harvested a northern Arizona bull elk this past season. Used a bunch of Gohunt points and bought this set. Glad I did. Quartered out the elk and loaded up all the bags. Plenty of room with the backstraps and tenderloins going in the meat sack. Put everything in a couple of icechests and covered with ice. Two days later dropped off everything at the processer. Two days later was finally able to clean up the mess. Ice had totally for the most part melted leaving them sitting in a watery blood bath. By the looks thought they might be headed for the trash can. Wrong, layed them out on the driveway, hosed em all down noticing them coming extremely clean. Put them all in the washer, hot water then the dryer. Folded everything up and stuck em back in the bag. Brand new. No bs, like new.
I decided to give these a try. After 3 seasons of use I decided to purchase a second set. They work great for me and I would highly recommend.
Fits a whole elk (quartered). Clean up was very easy as well. Just rinsed them with a little bit of elbow grease in the creek next to camp and they looked good as new. Great product will definitely buy more.
I'm impressed at how light they are. I got a deer about a month before I ordered the bags but looked forward to using them next year hopefully.
Killed a nice bull 1st rifle season Unit 18 Colorado. Quartered out and stuck him in the game bags. Hung him up with paracord and started packing him out. Almost dead center in the middle of 200000 acres of burn. Lots of ash and anything that touched the ground was black including the game bags and our gear. Really worried about the meat. When we pulled it out of the coolers and bags a few days later, the meat was perfectly clean. Very impressive. Washed the bags and their ready to go get another one!
