Breakdown
The Eolus is specifically built to fit two 6'5" tall people with gear. With two doors and two vestibules, each user has their own exit and entrance along with a place to stow gear. Used with trekking poles it's a super-light option for two people. The Eolus is perfect for warm weather as it's normal pitch allows for more airflow. During bad weather, you can lower the trekking poles and pitch it closer to the ground. With lineloc's and stakeouts, it won't lose tension and keeps it quiet even in windy conditions. A zipperless shelter makes the Eolus lighter, stronger and gives it less wear and failure points. The Eolus is based on a rectangular center with triangular vestibules on each side. Making it simple and easy to pitch and keep tension.
Overall the Eolus has a big footprint, is tall enough to sit up in without hitting your head, is easy to pitch, quiet in wind, and is storm worthy.

Seek Outside Eolus 2 Person Shelter
The construction and materials are top notch. The zipper free vestibules work great, and I much prefer them to a zipper. But the sleeping area is 4in shorter then advertised. This is only a problem for the 6ft 5in+ guys like my self. I tried restaking and positioning but the geometry does not change. Love the tent thow, just need to sleep on the diagonal by my self.
So far I have used this shelter two times on overnight trips. The shelter has worked great. I ordered the the Eolus nest from Seek Outside and now have a legitimate 3.5 season shelter. I bought this shelter for a spring bear trip in Idaho. So, I will really get to test it out in a couple weeks.
Very pleased with this tent so far. Set it up in the yard for seam sealing and it is easy to erect and tons of space for two guys. Looking forward to using it on our backcountry archery elk hunt in September.
