Breakdown
The Platypus Big Zip EVO personal hydration system is perfect on an extended backpack hunt. It features a low-profile reservoir with an easy-to-clean wide-mouth opening and a low-profile design that fits the back panel of any pack. The embedded silver-ion protects the reservoir from mold and bacteria. A quick-release hose and shutoff valve make drinking and refilling a breeze. This new EVO version has been modified to produce a 50% faster flow rate. The tiny MSR TrailShot water filter is designed so hikers can drink directly from sources along the trail for instant hydration and fill water bladders or bottles with clean water. The one-handed operation filters one liter of water in 60 seconds. Note: 75 pumps will fill a standard-sized Nalgene bottle.
