Description
The rechargeable ACTIK CORE headlamp offers 450 lumens of power which, combined with its mixed beam, makes it a staple in any hunters pack. A hybrid headlamp that comes with CORE, a battery that is rechargeable via standard USB port. It is compatible with standard batteries without the need for an adapter. Red lighting preserves night vision and prevents blinding other members of the group. Its reflective headband helps you to be seen when a light is shone on it and is equipped with an emergency whistle for rescue situations.

Good light

I do farm chores after my day job. This light with the rechargeable battery works great and should pay for itself with saved batteries. There is nothing worse than a low output light secondary to batteries getting low. I changed batteries often with my other headlights. No more.

Awesome headlamp, lots of great features. It is really nice to have a rechargeable option, but also be able to use batteries if need be!

Very bright

Good head lamp doesnt get 5 stars from me for I prefer more wider light beam option along with the narrow bright beam of light. The red light is pretty dim and narrow. Black diamond head lamps have surpassed Petzl for now.

Powerful Lightweight & Dependable Headlamp

I’ve used Petzl Actik Core for almost 3 years. The lamp quality gives me confidence to depend upon it during extended backpack hunts. I had dropped it on a hard surface before but, the bracket broke on one side when it launched on the concrete while getting out of the truck and Petzl promptly sent me a warranty replacement part. Petzl’s warranty submission form made that easy.

Great illumination power and light spread. Red light works well. Quick recharge time.
After 2+ years of use backpacking and as a utility light the battery is not holding a charge as long and I believe it has provided exceptional battery life for the numerous charges I’ve conducted(sometimes charging daily). Great company communication and well built product.
