BreakdownIdeal for cost-conscious hunters seeking high-end performance, the LEKI Legacy Lite CORTEC trekking poles offer reliable, durable aluminum construction, and user-friendly locks. These poles feature CORTEC EVOCON PAS grips. These textured grips have an ergonomic shape and a quick-release strap system. Carbide flex tips deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of shaft breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Leki Trekking Basket 2.0’s are included and are interchangeable with other baskets (sold separately).
These are great poles. Saved my ass more than once in the snow and on steep inclines.
Used these on a Wyoming hunt with some snow. The last folding connector frequently would gum up with snow and pop loose so the last extension would collapse (happened a few times a day) Compared to prior use of Black Diamond poles, these were subpar.
I have never used trekking poles but at age 68 and a weak hip I thought they can't hurt and might make it a little easier to get around. I haven't used them out hunting yet as the season is just about over here in WA state, but I intend to give them a workout and getting used to them now. They are well built, will stow well and the clamps seem to hold well at my settings. They arrived when they were supposed to and so far I am completely pleased with them.
Great product
These were reasonably priced and seem much more durable then tbt pair of cheap ones I bought two years back and had to replace
