Breakdown
The Crossover is a unique archery bow stabilizer that gives hunters and target shooters the chance to have full adjustability when it comes to their stabilizer length. Within seconds, you can have anywhere between an 8" - 21" stabilizer giving you the ability to make adjustments on the fly depending on the environment. The 821 stabilizer has to be the best hunting model that they make. 8" is about the shortest you can get in a stabilizer to still get the full effects but while at the same time you can extend it out to 21" for those long bomb shots or even 3D shoots.
Material | Carbon fiber |
Minimum length | 8" |
Maximum length | 21" |
Weight | 5.7 oz without weights |
I purchased the 821 stabilizer prior to my New Mexico javelina hunt. I noticed from the beginning my groups were much tighter at 30 yards. The second day of my hunt I was able to stalk within 30 yards of a boar and connected with my 1st javelina.
I've always been somebody who likes to have a longer stabilizer if possible for increased shootability. I also have gone away from chasing light weight on my bow, so the additional weight isn't a concern for me. I really like the versatility of this system. Allowing me to run it short/medium for hunts and if a longer shot is presented or practice I can extend it out.
I also have the 12 x 33, but prefer this 8 x 21 now. It's something I can take hunting that packs down nicely while my bow is on my pack and I can extend it out for 3D shoots. Highly recommend this product!
Crossroad Archery Crossover 821 Stabilizer
Still getting used to it but so far its been great. Ultimately, it let's me try different weights/lengths to determine what I like. Once I dial that in I might switch over to a fixed length, but I may just stick with this stabalizer
